the day UNT didn't screw me over

by all accounts, this day is pretty good.

• my 11:00 AM MWF class doesn't start until wednesday, so i got some extra nap time in after my 8:00 and 9:00 AM classes.
  
• i was able to move my 12:00 TR (R is for Rsday) conflicting Aural Skills III class to 10:00 AM TR, sucessfully avoiding having all 8:00 AM classes
  
• i decided that i'd like to stay in Brass Band. i brought my Flugelhorn and seeing as i a.) have experience playing Flugel and b.) own a Flugel, i have a good chance of being the one Flugelhorn chair in Brass Band. very cool.
  
• i paid all my tuition before the deadline
  
• i was able to move my conflicting Improvisation I class from 2:00 PM MWF to 3:00 PM TR, which wouldn't have mattered if i hadn't...
  
• passed the audition to get into Improv I. this audition was the one of much frustration last semester. though i have things i need to "work on," i got into the class, and that's what matters.

thus ends my first day of classes. i have the rest of the day to do what i want.
